2019 LETR Cape Cod Torch Run

What is the Cape Cod Torch Run?

Unique among it's kind, the Cape Cod Torch Run leg is an awareness and fundraising campaign for Special Olympics MA athletes, teams, and coaches on Cape Cod.

The torch which holds the Flame of Hope will be traveling nearly 70 miles on its journey and you have the wonderful opportunity to escort the flame from Provincetown to Bourne. All officers and military personnel are welocme to join team legs of the run!

The run will begin before dawn from the Provincetown Police Department and continue throughout the day to the Bourne Police Department at the other end of the Cape, almost 70 miles away! The Flame of Hope will pass through almost all of the towns throughout Cape Cod.

All of the money raised through the Cape Cod leg of the Torch Run will go directly to benefit the more than 800 athletes competing year round who reside on the Cape!

Event Schedule

Pre-Dawn Start at the Provincetown Police Department - 5:00AM

Finish just beyond the Bourne Police Department at Mezza Luna Restaurant - 4:30PM

Dinner and celebration at Mezza Luna to follow race

How much is the Cape Cod Torch Run?

There is a $25 registration fee, which is a donation, for all runners. However, if your union is paying for the runner fee please use the code UNION at checkout and we will send an invoice to your department! We do recommend fundraising for you and your team also to support the amazing Cape Cod Special Olympians!
