As we are sure you can imagine, we have been monitoring the coronavirus situation across the state and at the strong recommendation of our public safety partners at the Department of Conservation and Recreation (our permitting authority for state beaches), local police, fire, and parks departments, we have made the incredibly difficult decision to postpone the LETR Lakeville Polar Plunge.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run is partnering with the Lakeville Police Union to host the city's 1st Polar Plunge! Set at Clear Pond Park, plungers will charge into the lake waters to support Special Olympics. After the plunge, join us for some food, music, and fundraising and costume awards! Grab your thrill-seeking, inclusion-celebrating friendds and family, create a plunge team, and start fundraising! Those who fundraise $100 or more will receive a limited edition Polar Plunge long-sleeve shirt.
The Polar Plunge is about more than just a good time. By fundraising $100 or more, you are empowering over 13,300 Special Olympics athletes in Massachusetts to train and compete in the sports that they love, sponsoring lifelong friendships and competitive spirits, and celebrating inclusion for individuals with intellectual disabilities on and off the playing field.
