As we are sure you can imagine, we have been monitoring the Coronavirus situation across the state and at the strong recommendation of our public safety partners at the Department of Conservation and Recreation (our permitting authority for state beaches), local police, fire, and parks departments, we have made the incredible difficuly decision to cancel the Pittsfield Super Plunge & Pittsfield Polar Plunge.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run in Berkshire County is partnering with Bousquet Ski Mountain to bring back the annual Super & Polar Plunges! Set at the ski area, Super Plungers will jump into the man-made body of water to support Special Olympics 24 times over 24 hours. In between plunges, Super Plungers will be able to get warm with Zumba, Yoga, and plenty of other activities. Grab your thrill-seeking, inclusion-celebrating friends and family, create a Super Plunge team, and start fundraising! Super Plungers are encouraged to raise $1,000 or more to participate. If Super Plunging isn't your thing, fundraise just $100 and join us on the 29th at 11:00AM for the 24th Plunge.
The Super Plunge is about more than just a good time. By fundraising, you are empowering over 13,300 Special Olympics athletes to train and compete in the sports that they love, sponsoring lifelong friendships and competitive spirits, and celebrating inclusion for individuals with intellectual disabilities on and off the playing field.
